market today began with great boom . Sensex rose by nearly 160 points
. Nifty gained over 40 points and reached over 6700 .
Day at 9:26 AM , the Sensex rose 107 points to 22525 and Nifty gained 24 points at 6720 levels . Midcap and Smallcap stocks rose 0.7 %.
Banks , Capital Goods , Metal , Power , Healthcare stocks are strong 1 to 0.75 per cent . Oil and gas , technical , IT , FMCG , realty stocks is 0.5 to 0.25 per cent . Auto stocks are sluggish . However , consumer durables stocks are weak .
Nifty , HDFC , BHEL , BPCL , PNB , Tata Power , ICICI Bank , Bank of Baroda , Cipla , Tata Steel is 1.7 to 1 % .
