Nifty, Tata Power , BHEL , Wipro , HDFC Bank , HDFC , Coal India , Power Grid , DLF , Lupin , Bharti Airtel , Tech Mahindra is 1 to 0.25 % stronger .

Veterans Dr Reddy's , L & T , ONGC , GAIL , UltraTech Cement , Bank of Baroda , ICICI Bank , BPCL , Tata Motors fell from 1 to 0.5 %.

Good Asian cues and domestic markets because of rupee appreciation is beginning with a lead . Day at 9:23 AM, the Sensex rose 78 points to 22 402 and Nifty gained 26 points at 6679 levels . Midcap and Smallcap stocks are strong at about 0.5 % .

Metal , auto , realty , power , healthcare , consumer durables , oil & gas stocks are strong from 0.5 to 0.25 % . Banks , capital goods , IT , technology , FMCG stocks have a slight edge .

Cipla 's shares rose more than 2 per cent of Nifty . Hindalco , Sesa Sterlite , HCL Tech , Tata Motors , BHEL , PNB , Bank of Baroda , Maruti Suzuki , Lupin , Tata Steel , ONGC , ACC rose from 1.5 to 0.5 % .

Veterans Wipro , IDFC , GAIL , Sun Pharma , UltraTech Cement , BPCL , Grasim , ICICI Bank , Dr Reddy's is 0.75 to 0.25 %.
